Shane Gadbaw founded Aspen Equity Construction in the pursuit of excellence in the construction industry. Separate from Eagle Point, Shane has had a long career as a professional investor, hallmarked by high standards for investment performance and client service. Shane carries those values with him today. After years as a dissatisfied customer working with local builders developing Eagle Point Resort, Shane decided he wanted a better experience for the emerging community at his resort. He knew from direct experience that owners wanted a trusted partner with a keen attention to detail, professional people and processes, and unique expertise building in the Tushar Mountains. Today, Aspen Equity Construction is the area’s market leader with a reputation that reflects Shane’s original ambitions.

When not greeting guests or developing his resort, Shane is a professional real estate investor and investment manager. His career in investment management includes over 25 years of experience managing hedge funds and investing in domestic and international real estate.

Shane splits his time between his second home at Eagle Point Resort and his primary residence in Michigan with his wife, Kini, and their three children.
